Eduwish Institute was established under by an Act of the West Bengal legislature as a private institution and is empowered to award degrees as specified under the institution Act under its main campus in regular mode. The name of the institution is included in the list of universities.
Eduwish Institute has been established by Act XXXI of 2015 of the Government of West Bengal. ‘The Eduwish Institute Act, 2015’ has been passed by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, and the same has been published in Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary on January 27, 2016. The provisions of the Eduwish Institute Act, 2015, have come into effect from February 25, 2016. through.

It is located at Parulia, the district headquarters of East Burdwan. It is very well connected with the main city. The nearest railway station (2km) is Purbasthali. The nearest bus depot is Parulia which is 2km from the university. There is a regular auto or toto service that takes students to the campus from the railway station or bus depot.
Classes are usually conducted between 9am and 7pm. However, please note that evening classes might also be conducted as required by professors and students.
